The Friday Magazine Club met Nov. 10.

Starting with lunch at Batar, the members moved to the Jackson County Public Library in Seymour for a talk by author Ramona Cecil.

First was the invocation and roll call with each member discussing a current event.

Cecil, author of more than 11 novels and novellas, spoke about her books. They are rich in early Indiana history and are researched to be as accurate as possible to the early 1800s in the pioneer days of Indiana. She includes many actual events of the time.
