The Jackson County Public Library will close the Seymour Library at 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 1-2, as preparations for the 51st Seymour Oktoberfest gets underway.

The Seymour Library will be Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 3-5; with the Friends of the Library accepting $5 donations for parking from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 3-5.

The Discovery Bus also is off the road Thursday, Oct. 3. Materials may be returned in the drive-up materials’ return on the south side of the Seymour Library while the library is closed. Branches will maintain regular hours with Medora Library open noon to 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, and Crothersville Library noon to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4.
