Spraytown Free Methodist Church invites the public to a presentation from Speedway Racing Ministries at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, at the church at 2372 W. State Road 58, Seymour.

A freewill offering will be received for this non-profit ministry.

Speedway Racing Ministries is devoted to the spiritual growth of race fans, primarily in the IndyCar and NASCAR communities, according to a news release from the church. By building relationships, serving, and presenting opportunities to serve, the ministry hopea to see God spiritually transform the lives of race fans across the country.

Speedway Racing has a discipleship group on Facebook called “Christian Race Fan Community” and provides an event for race fans during the month of May and the Brickyard 400 weekend.

These events provide an opportunity to integrate faith and racing and present the gospel to IndyCar and NASCAR fans alike.

Paige Johnston is the founder and president of Speedway Racing Ministries. She attended Oklahoma Wesleyan University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in pastoral ministry and Biblical studies in 2019. She lives in Indianapolis with her husband, Ben.
