NORTH VERNON
Teresa Jo Foster, 69, of North Vernon, passed away at 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at her residence.
Born September 27, 1954, in Seymour; she was the daughter of Lois (Fear) Copeland and the late James Copeland. She married David Foster on September 7, 1973, in Dudleytown; he survives.
Teresa was a 1972 graduate of Seymour High School and worked on the assembly line for Cummins Engine Company in Seymour for 20 years before retiring in 2018, she was also a member of the Diesel Workers Union. She also worked at Air Mark Vending in Columbus for 14 years. Teresa was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, farming, painting crafts and ceramics. Teresa loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving with her husband David, are her sons, Dan ( Rena) Foster of Reddington, and Jason (Christy) Foster of Seymour; her daughter, Michele (Kevin) Kidder of North Vernon; mother, Lois Copeland of Seymour; step-brother, Don Harold of Seymour; sister, Lisa Copeland of North Vernon; step-sister, Debbie Terril of Seymour; grandchildren, MaryKa (Tyler) Cramer of Columbus, Ty Foster, Finlee Foster, Alex Royalty, Braxton Royalty, and Jamaica McIntosh, all of Seymour and Luke McClintock and Kimberlynn Kidder, both of North Vernon; and great-grandchildren, Wyatt Cramer, Morgan Cramer, and McKenna Cramer, all of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her father.
A visitation for Teresa will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023, at the Dove-Sharp &Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon.
Memorials may be made in honor of Teresa through the funeral home to Mercy Rescue and Adoption Inc.
