The Braves grabbed another victory on Friday against the Salem Lions. The team defeated the Lions, 4-1 for another victory, their third straight to be exact. Brownstown No. 1, Smith Hackman, defeated Carson Albertson of Salem, 7-5, and 6-3. Braves No. 2, Pierson Wheeler, dominated Japeth Webb, winning 6-1, and 7-5. No. 3, Lane Steward, kept it rolling for Brownstown, defeating Landon Irwin, 6-0, and 6-1. The Braves won one doubles match, the first one between Chase Brock/Evan Schneider and Cameron Albertson and Griffin Richards went to the Lions, 6-4 and 6-2. The second team of Brady Davis and Max Peters picked up the victory over Nick Ingram and Hunter Trainer, winning 6-3, and 6-4. Other Friday events will posted throughout the weekend on the internet.
