James Gregory (Jim) Ashcraft, 84, of Renton, WA, passed away in his sleep early in the morning of March 24, 2023. Jim was born on September 20, 1938 to Charles Gregory (f) and Beulah Ruth (Pferrer) (m) Ashcraft of Seymour, IN. Jim earned an Accounting degree from Marion College and retired from Boeing after 33 years. Jim married his love, Maebeth (Beth) Hirtzel in 1959. Jim was predeceased by his father, mother, and cherished stepfather Harold S. Knott. He is survived by his wife Maebeth, their four children James Gregory (Gregg) Ashcraft jr., Betty Lorena (Ashcraft) Scarbrough, Martin Paul (Marty) Ashcraft, and Timothy Vincent (Tim) Ashcraft., Jim’s brother John, sister Jeanne, and brother Steve Knott. Jim will be interred at Greenwood Memorial Park in Renton, WA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital (https://www.stjude.org).
