0

The annual Good Friday Prayer Breakfast will be at 7 a.m. April 7 at The Pines Evergreen Room, 4289 N. U.S. 31, Seymour.

Over the years, pastors and staff members from many denominations from all over Jackson County have attended the breakfast, coming together to celebrate the beginning of spring and to renew their faith.

There will be a presentation of colors by the Seymour Young Marines, invocation by Betsy Christensen of The Tabernacle at Sandy Creek, music by St. Ambrose musicians, a message by Tyler Tolbert of Central Christian Church and benediction by Jon Gibson of The Point.

The cost for the buffet breakfast will be $15 per person. Doors will open at 6:30 a.m. so attendees may go through the buffet line before the service begins. As soon as everyone is seated, the service will begin. The program will conclude around 8 a.m.

Reservations are required by March 30. Forms are available at city hall, 301-309 N. Chestnut St., Seymour, and may be mailed or dropped off along with payment of $15 per person. Checks may be made payable to The Pines.
