Jacqueline “Jacque” (Mauzy) Moster, 83, of Seymour passed away on February 16, 2023, at Covered Bridge Health Campus. Jacque was born on July 29, 1939, in Rushville, IN to Glen and Adrienne (Faulkner) Mauzy. She was a 1957 graduate of Rushville High School. Also in 1957, Jacque married her husband, John Moster. John and Jacque had lived in the Columbus area for over forty years. Jacque had worked for many years as a Dental Assistant and Receptionist as well as helping John run his store gun store and their antique booth at the Southport Antique mall. Jacque had been a member of Flat Rock Christian Church in Rushville and Central Christian Church in Seymour. She loved birds, flowers, Betty Boop and attending old car shows with her husband. Jacque had a talent and passion for quilting and belonged to several quilting groups.

Jacque is survived by her daughter, Diana Moster; brothers: Joe (Kathy) Mauzy, Steve (Gena) Mauzy both of California and Jeff (Jean) Mauzy of Rushville, IN; sister, Anne (Dr. Thomas) Garrott of Biloxi, MS; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, John.

There will be a celebration of Jacque’s life that is to be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Voss &Sons Funeral &Cremation Services. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Transverse Myelitis Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
