The Jackson County Board of Zoning Appeals plans to meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Jackson County Courthouse, 111 S. Main St., Brownstown.

The five-member board is scheduled to discuss two applications for special exceptions to allow for outdoor weddings, receptions and small events at their current residences, which are in areas zoned for agriculture.

Tiffany Johnson and Nick Goings are seeking the special exception for their residence known as Swifty Farms. The property at 351 S. U.S. 31 in Seymour was once owned by Don and Dana Myers.

The second applicant, Cat Kick, is seeking a special exception for her property in the 900 block of South County Road 950E, Brownstown.

This meeting is open to the public and press to propose any questions or concerns.
