Sherman Wayne Decker, 68, of Seymour, Indiana passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Franciscan Health Mooresville in Mooresville, Indiana

Born March 3, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Sherman Decker and Sylvia Decker, who survives.

He attended the Scottsburg Church of God and visited Grace Covenant Church of God in Austin. Sherman loved his trips to Canada fishing and loved playing music, which he could play just about any instrument.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara J. (Little) Decker, daughters, Melissa Foster and Tina Dingess, stepchildren, Julie Harmon and Scott Harmon, his mother, Sylvia Decker, siblings, Sheila Morris, Ronnie Decker, Bruce Barger, and Cora Adams. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Hannah &Coleman Foster, Isaiah &Conner Chadwick,, Johny Harmon, and Zachary Lynch, and 6 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father, Sherman Decker and a sister Marsha Sanford.

Funeral Service: 12:00 Noon Monday, January 16, 2023 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana.

Visitation will be 10 am to 12 noon Monday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Coffee Creek Christian Church Cemetery in Paris Crossing, Indiana.
