Julie Downing, 51, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023, in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Seymour.

She was born November 13, 1971, in Columbus, IN. Survivors include two daughters, Katie Downing of Indianapolis, and Lucie Downing of Bloomington; father, David Knotts of Seymour; one sister, Amy Moore of Seymour; and her nephews and niece, Mitchell, Matthew, and Emery.

Julie immediately lit up any room she entered and made an impact on many. Her love for family, friends, and drag queens was something fierce. In her free time, she loved playing darts, cooking, traveling, live music, and spending time with her dog, Chico. Her infectious laugh, wild sense of humor, sass, and louder than life personality will be missed dearly.
