Free informational session, breakfast set in Bedford

0

The public is invited to join local foresters for breakfast from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Jan. 13 at the Thornton Park indoor shelter house off of Brian Lane Way (north of Bedford Little Theater).

A breakfast will be served while several foresters with various backgrounds will give short presentations on their work and how they can assist the public. They’ll also answer questions people have about woodland issues on their own lands.

Preregistration for the breakfast is needed by Jan. 12 to have enough food prepared.

For information or to RSVP, contact Mandy Robbins at the Lawrence County Soil and Water Conservation District office at 812-279-8117, ext. 3.

The event is sponsored by the White River Forestry Committee and the Lawrence County SWCD.
