Library planning two special winter programs for children

The Jackson County Public Library has two special event programs happening in January and February.

Space is limited, and registration is required.

Night at the Library is from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 20. The library might be closed, but kids in grades 3 to 5 are invited to party. A signed permission slip is available in the Kidz Korner at the Seymour Library and is required for participation. There’s a limit of 15.

A tea party is from 10:30 a.m. Feb. 18. Ages 3 to 8 can enjoy a warm beverage and fun activities. Children must be accompanied by an adult. There’s a limit of 20.
