SEYMOUR

Rodney Dale Jaynes, age 62, a lifelong resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born on September 7, 1960 to the late Harold Lee Jaynes and the late Ella Jane (Cole) Jaynes. Rodney was a member of Seymour Christ Temple Apostolic for over 30 years and enjoyed helping his mother clean the church. He enjoyed fishing and the holidays, especially Christmas. He was involved with the boys club for over twenty years. He loved hanging out with his case worker and friend Bradley Bowen that he trusted very much. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to A New Level and Help at Home for their assistance in caring for him over many years. He is survived by two daughters, Leah Kinser of Seymour, Indiana and Sarah Kinser of Seymour, Indiana. Two brothers, Mike Jaynes and his wife Robbie of Seymour, Indiana and Marty Jaynes and his wife Mary Ellen of Seymour, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Seymour Christ Temple Apostolic with funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM with Pastor Allman and Bishop Allman officiating. He will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery.
