The Muscatatuck Wildlife Society is holding an open house with free homemade cookies from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge’s visitor center.

The society is a volunteer nonprofit organization that was created for the purpose of supporting educational programs and activities at the refuge at 12985 E. U.S. 50, Seymour. The society works closely with the refuge staff in their efforts to educate visitors about wildlife.

Members have the opportunity to get involved with the management of Indiana’s first national wildlife refuge established in 1966.
