SEYMOUR

Betty Ruth Stiles, 87, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away November 18, 2022, at the Lutheran Community Home. She was born on June 13, 1935, to the late Opal and Hazel Smith Conner.

Ms. Stiles was a member of the Central Christian Church in Seymour. She loved gardening, cooking, and antiquing. She worked in childcare and worked as a home health care nurse.

She survived by her three children, Robert I (Connie) Stiles, Carolyn (Duane) Carter, and Beth Ann Stiles King, all of Seymour; five grandchildren, Pamela Bowman, Kimberly Schafstall, Julianne King, Kristi (Bill) Elkins, and Todd (Jamie) McKinney and nine great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Opal and Hazel Smith Conner; one daughter, Paula Sue Stiles; one brother, Ray Conner; and one sister, Rose Ellen Wampler.

There will be a graveside service at Old Union Cemetery in Fayetteville, Indiana on Saturday November 26, 2022, at 11 am.
