Three former Jackson County 4-H members recently were honored with 4-H Accomplishment Scholarships.
They were presented Oct. 29 during the Indiana 4-H Foundation’s annual Scholarship Luncheon in Carmel.
Earning scholarships were Abigail Stuckwisch, 2022 Premier Leadership Scholarship, sponsored by Indiana State Fair Commission; Hannah Kerkhof, 2022 Civic Engagement Scholarship, sponsored by Ceres Solution Cooperative; and Valeria Ramirez, Special Merit Scholarship, sponsored by Elanco Animal Health & The Organization of Latinos and Hispanics at Elanco.
“These scholarships are extremely competitive, and youth from the entire state of Indiana apply for these scholarships. Of the 45 scholarships given out statewide, we are extremely proud that three of those were awarded to former Jackson County 4-H members,” Purdue Extension Jackson County stated in a post on its Facebook page. “Congratulations and best wishes as you all continue your college education. We are extremely proud of each of you.”
