A free community Thanksgiving meal is planned for Nov. 23 in Brownstown.
Community Church Brownstown and New Life Missionary Baptist Church will be working together to provide a free Thanksgiving dinner to anyone in Jackson County who wants to receive a free meal.
The following items are needed: 33 frozen turkeys, 40 boxes of stuffing, 35 cans of green beans, 120 jars of gravy and 40 loaves of bread.
