The Seymour Community School Corp. board of education will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Seymour Central Service Center, 1420 Corporate Way.
The first order of business will be the 1028 hearing for Margaret R. Brown Elementary School expansion. The statement of purpose will be given by Brandon Harpe, educational need for the project will be discussed by Lisa Ferguson, overview of the project will be explained by Talmadge Reasoner and financial impact of the project will be shared by Steve Nauman.
At this point, public comments will be heard, followed by board consideration of the project resolution, board consideration of a preliminary determination resolution and board consideration of a reimbursement resolution.
The school board meeting will begin immediately after the 1028 hearing.
The meeting will include the consent agenda, communications and recognition, donations and grants and an update on the school construction projects.
Also on the agenda are the following action items: 2023 Everside Health Clinic renewal and the CPF projects.
First read items include 2023 school board meeting dates, eRate and common school loan, recommendation for the name of the intermediate school and the 2023 bus replacement plan.
