Karen McDonald of Red Sky Rescue said the animal shelter’s new location is 8 miles south of Seymour, close to Swifty Farms.
The address is 241 S. County Road 1125E, Seymour.
“We believe that every pet deserves a chance for a happy life with a loving family,” McDonald said. “We strive to find and explore every resource to help pets who need to find that forever family who will give them that second chance to be a beloved member of their family circle.”
McDonald said they take every opportunity to educate the community about the advantages of spaying and neutering their pets to reduce the number of unwanted, abandoned pets in shelters everywhere.
“We rely totally on private donors to continue our work to save lives,” she said. “Visit our Facebook page to see stories of pets we have helped, many injured, sick or victims of neglect.”
Monetary gifts will go directly to their medical fund. Supplies, such as canned dog or cat food, toys, treats and cleaning supplies, also can be donated using amazonsmile.com and designating Red Sky Rescue as the chosen charity.
