Jackson County Public Library book discussion groups in Seymour and Crothersville will gather in person to discuss book themes, writing styles, characters and more in November.
Books are available to check out at the checkout desk or may be available digitally through OverDrive/Libby or hoopla.
The Tuesday Night Book Club will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 8 at Chili’s in Seymour. Information Services Manager Janet Hensen will lead the review of “The 6th Extinction” by James Rollins. Sign up for the program online or when picking up the book at the checkout desk.
The book discussion group at the Crothersville Library, which meets on the third Wednesday of each month, will meet in the library meeting room and share thoughts on “The Guide” by Peter Heller at 6 p.m. Nov. 16. Crothersville Coordinator Cindy Huckleberry will lead the discussion. The group is open to adults, and there is no attendance requirement.
Fantastic Fiction will meet at the Seymour Library and discuss “The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue” by V.E. Schwab at 11 a.m. Nov. 18. Led by circulation department staff, this group meets on the third Friday of each month.
Teens are invited to Scene Reading, a group for readers in grades 6 to 12. The group will meet in the Seymour Library Teen Scene at 4 p.m. Nov. 22. Teen Specialist Hillary Pacheco will lead the discussion of “Spy Family v. 1” by Tatsuya Endō.
