An electronics recycling event is planned for 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 5 at 847 E. Fourth St. in Seymour.

Items that will be accepted include all televisions, batteries of any size and kind, camcorders/cameras, computers, including desktops, laptops, tablets and monitors, cellphones, copiers, DVD players, fax machines, game systems, microwaves, printers, video equipment, VCRs, iPods, MP3 players, pagers, palm pilots, E-readers and more.

The Indiana Department of Environmental Management is partnering with the Jackson County Solid Waste Management District, Cummins and Technology Recycles to hold the event.

For contactless delivery, participants are asked to stay in their vehicle, and staff from Technology Recyclers will unload the items.
