The president of the Jackson County Council has scheduled a special meeting for 8 a.m. Nov. 1 in the meeting room of the courthouse, 111 S. Main St., Brownstown.
The purpose of the meeting is to hold a public hearing for the Pershing Township Fire Protection District 2023 budget to be followed by discussion for council approval of that budget.
The meeting is open to the public and press.
