The Seymour Evening Lions Club will hold its 55th annual Halloween costume parade at 6 p.m. Monday.
The parade will begin at the post office at Fourth and Chestnut streets in downtown Seymour and will continue to the Smalltown Plaza parking lot on West Second Street. The Seymour High School Marching Owls will lead the parade.
After the parade, judging of costumes will be by age and categories in the Smalltown Plaza parking lot.
The age groups will be 2 and under, 3 and 4, 5 and 6, 7 to 9, 10 to 13, 14 to 20 and 21 and older.
Categories are best pet costume, best group of three and best band member.
Prizes will be awarded in each group and category, and treats will be available to all contestants.
