A “Spooktacular Event” will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31 at Rockford Community Church, 1934 N. Ewing St., Seymour.

The free event will feature cookies and drinks, music, a Redding Township Volunteer Fire Departement firetruck in addition to trunk or treating, both inside and out. If the weather is bad, everything will be moved inside.
