Joy Neighbors, a cemetery culture, art, history and genealogy expert, will entertain and educate attendees with her presentation, “Stories From the Grave,” at 2 p.m. Oct. 29 at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.
This free Jackson County Public Library program is sponsored by Friends of the Jackson County Public Library. Registration is required by going to myjclibrary.org/events or calling the Seymour Library at 812-523-4636 by Oct. 27.
Neighbors, also a freelance writer and blogger, previously presented programs at the Seymour Library in 2015 and 2019.
In this program, she will share stories of a man murdered in cold blood in a courtroom while seeking justice, a faithful companion who continues to keep watch over his master’s tomb, the murder of a civil rights activist that still haunts a community and other spooky tales.
Neighbors travels by RV and also is a renowned wine judge.
