An open house is planned for 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Anchor House Family Assistance Center and Pantry, 250 S. Vine St., Seymour.
Join the nonprofit organization’s donors, volunteers and community partners who have made the pantry and building upgrades possible, see the new look, tour the food pantry and learn about programs.
Hot dogs and snacks will be provided by Knights of Columbus Council 1252 of Seymour.

“We’re hoping this is an opportunity to provide some well-deserved public recognition for everyone who makes our mission possible, bolster support before the holiday season and maybe even launch our Thanksgiving basket initiative leading up to the holidays,” said Sarver, funding director for Anchor House.
