SEYMOUR

Ruth Evelyn (Meyer) Scifres, 89, of Seymour, Indiana, slipped peacefully into her Father’s arms with her family by her side on October 4, 2022, at the Lutheran Community Home. Ruth was very proud of her family, and in her own quiet way, wanted everyone to go to heaven.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Harold “Bud” Scifres; her parents, Frank and Dorothy Meyer; her four siblings, Walter Meyer, Mildred Meyer, Melvin “Steve” Meyer, and Lois Meyer; and sisters-in-law, Lea Meyer, and Janet Meyer.

Visitation will be held at Voss and Sons Funeral Service on Friday October 7, 2022, from 4pm until 8pm. On Saturday, October 8, 2022, visitation will be held at Zion Lutheran Church from 9am until the time of service at 10am. Burial will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
