Age 88 years of Brownstown died peacefully Friday, September 30, at her home in Brownstown surrounded by her loving family.
Susan was born July 14, 1934 in Houston, IN to the late James W. and Helena B. Lutes Cummings. Susan graduated from Clearsprings High School, Class of 1952 and married the love of her life, Neal C. McCory, March 12, 1959 in Norman, IN. She worked as a bookkeeper for Hamilton Motors in Brownstown for over six years and assisted her husband in pastoring the Freetown Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ for 35 years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, as well as a saint of God. She was saved at the age of 15 and would testify often of how thankful she was that she made this decision. Her faith in God and the example that she showed in her everyday life exemplified a Proverbs 31 woman. Susan was a true role model to her family and to all of those who knew her. Many lives have been blessed as she faithfully served the Lord.
