
Seymour and Trinity Lutheran high schools will host soccer sectional tournaments next week.
Seymour and Trinity will host boys sectionals on Oct. 3, 5 and 8, and Trinity will host a girls sectional on Oct. 4, 6 and 8.
In the boys Class 3A tournament at Seymour, Jennings County will play Floyd Central at 5 p.m. Oct. 3, and that match will be followed by New Albany battling Jeffersonville.
The winners of the Monday matches will play at 5 p.m. Oct. 5, and Seymour will play Bedford North Lawrence at 7 p.m.
The winners of the Thursday matches will play at 7 p.m. Oct. 8 for the championship.
In the Class 1A boys sectional at Trinity, the Cougars will face Christian Academy of Indiana at 5 p.m. Oct. 3, and Henryville will face Rock Creek Academy in the second match.
The Monday winners will play at 5 p.m. Oct. 5 with Lanesville and Austin to follow.
The Wednesday winners will battle at 7 p.m. Oct. 8 for the championship.
The girls sectional at Trinity will begin Oct. 4 with Trinity facing Southwestern (Hanover) at 5:30 p.m. in the only match scheduled for Tuesday.
Brown County will face Providence at 5 p.m. Oct. 6, and Austin will play the winner of the Trinity-Southwestern match at 7 p.m.
Winners of the Thursday matches will play at 2 p.m. Oct. 8 for the championship.
The Seymour girls will play in the Class 3A sectional at New Albany.
Jeffersonville will play Floyd Central at 5 p.m. Oct. 4, and the Owls will face New Albany at 7 p.m.
Winners of the Tuesday matches will play at 5 p.m. Oct. 6, followed by Bedford North Lawrence playing Jennings County.
Winners of the Thursday matches will play at 2 p.m. Oct. 8 for the championship.
