The Jackson County Clothing center is in need of monetary and clothing donations.
It’s currently accepting winter clothing, including coats, jackets, sweatshirts and pants of all sizes.
There also is a big need for men’s jeans sizes 28 to 36, white socks, teen shirts, leggings, sweatpants, shoes and women’s pajamas.
Outside of clothing, the center also is in need of bedding, queen sheets and blankets of all sizes.
Board Secretary Cheryl Vierling said the center will be submitting a monthly donation list to The Tribune. Anyone with suggestions for the betterment of the clothing center, which is a nonprofit organization, should contact Vierling at 812-522-7331 or [email protected]
“The Jackson County Clothing Center would like to thank all those who have contributed to our continued success of the center,” she said.
Anyone may stop by the clothing center, 622 W. Second St., Seymour, to shop or to drop off donations from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays and from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Volunteers also are welcome.
