The new Rise Up Club will have its first meeting at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 22 at the Jackson County Public Library, 303 W. Second St., Seymour.
This is an activism club that will focus on organizing and volunteering to help raise awareness to problems in the community.
It’s an opportunity for any Jackson County teenager to make a difference in his or her community and get valuable volunteer or community service needed for future references.
