Flying Eagles planning fundraiser for Humane Society

The Southern Indiana Flying Eagles will have a fly-in benefit from 9 a.m. to dusk Oct. 8 at the remote control airfield within the Freeman Field Industrial Park in Seymour.

The event will benefit the Humane Society of Jackson County, and donations for the shelter are welcome.

Any type of remote-controlled scale aircraft is welcome.

There will be hot dogs, chips and drinks available during the event. The field is easy to find, and those who plan to attend may turn onto Airport Road from U.S. 50 and follow the signs to the field.
