Mrs. Stacy Carol Williams, age 49, of Seymour, passed away Monday, August 15 at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.

Stacy was born January 17, 1973, in Salem, Indiana, the daughter of Phyllis Carol Banks Barkley. She was a member of Lakeview Church of Christ in Columbus. Stacy was a graduate of Salem High School, Class of 1991 and Indiana University, Class of 1995. She was a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority at IU. Stacy loved babies and was a supervisor for the Department of Child Services in North Vernon.

Stacy married Keith Williams on July 20, 1996, and he survives. Along with her husband, Keith, she is survived by a daughter: Alexis Carol Williams of Seymour, a sister: Kelly Capps of Louisville, Kentucky, and several aunts, uncles and cousins, one niece and one nephew and many, many friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11AM at Weathers Funeral Home with Dr. Jeremy Goen officiating. Burial will follow in Stampers Creek Cemetery, Orange County. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-6PM and Monday from 9AM-time of service
