PARIS CROSSING

Wynn Edward Wright, 63, of Paris Crossing, Indiana, passed away August 1, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. On August 10, 1958, he was born in Muncie, Indiana, to JoAnn Wright and the late Daniel Wright. On August 17, 1980, he married Denise (Pottschmidt) Wright in Seymour, Indiana at Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Wynn was a member of the Reddington Christian Church where he served as elder and helped with the youth program for many years. He was also a past member of Seymour Noon Lions Club and Jackson Co Industrial Development. In 1976 Wynn graduated from Cowan High School, then attended Purdue University for his bachelor’s degree, and completed his master’s degree at Iowa State University. Wynn retired in 2020 after 32 years of service holding many positions with Indiana American Water Company. In his retirement he enjoyed traveling with his wife, visiting family, and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Denise Wright; his mother, JoAnn Wright; his children, Duwayne (Mandy) Wright of Greenwood, Indiana, Kara (Cameron) Spiller of Hermosa Beach, California, and Gregory (Savannah (Drummond) Wright of Paris Crossing, Indiana; grandchildren, Allison Wright, Emmie Robbins, Emery Spiller, and Branden Wright; his brothers, Mark Wright, Lon Wright, Alan Wright, Drew Wright, and Vince Wright all of Muncie, Indiana, and sister Ann Larson of Carmel, Indiana.

He is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Wright, and his brother, Joe Wright.

Visitation will be held at Voss and Sons Funeral Service on August 4, 2022, from 4pm until time of service at 7pm with Pastor Scott Brown officiating. There will be a graveside service at Tomlinson Cemetery in Muncie, Indiana on Friday, August 5, 2022, at 11 am.
