Five Jackson County Edward Jones financial advisers are supporting Jackson County United Way’s Rock’n Ready by using their branch offices as drop-off locations for a school supplies drive.

Local residents may help support this effort by bringing in items to the Edward Jones branch offices during regular business hours from Monday to July 12.

Participating financial advisers and their branch addresses are: Ryan Kemp 128 S. Main St., Brownstown; Patrick Baltus, 1004 E. Tipton St., Seymour; Andrea Hall, 213 S. Chestnut St., Seymour; Steve Shoemaker, 105 Community Drive, Seymour; and Adam Jackson, 201 S. Chestnut St., Seymour.

“As our world becomes more global, competition within our younger generations continues to rise, emphasizing the importance of a quality education,” Jackson said.

“We’re proud to support the academic development of young minds in this community through this school supply donation program,” he said. “We’re asking Jackson County residents to donate school supplies or volunteer their time. These donations can add value, as one more student will be provided with the appropriate tools to begin or continue his or her learning and development.”
