James A. Mails 72, of Seymour, Indiana passed away on May 17, 2022, at the Covered Bridge Health Campus. He was born in Seymour in 1949 to Dorothy I. Gilpin Mails and the late James T. Mails.

In 1972 in Austin, Indiana he married Lillian Stanfield and she survives.

James loved working on cars. He owned and operated Mails and Sons Towing Service and was a mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, mother, sons James A. (Terri) Mails Jr., Charles E. (Amy) Mails, and Jack M. (Jessie) Mails, grandchildren; Zachary Mails, Hunter Baker, Karrigon Mails, Owen Mails, Ellie Mails, and Henry Mails.

Visitation will be held on Sunday May 22, 2022, at Voss and Sons Funeral Home from 12 pm- 4pm and on Monday May 23, 2022, from 10-11 a.m. Services will be held on Monday May 23, 2022, at Voss and Sons Funeral Service at 11 am. Burial will follow at Hayden Cemetery.
