Immanuel Lutheran Church’s Ladies Aid 3 met Tuesday with 21 members present.

The meeting at the Seymour church was opened by President Sandee Helwig with the singing of “Crown Him with Many Crowns” and the reciting of Psalm 121. Hostesses for the evening — using a spring theme — were Donna Otte, Penny Austin and Helen Nolting.

Guest was Vicar Nick Wagenknecht, who explained the call process for new vicar and pastor assignments for this year. There will be 55 candidates.

Reports of several nursing home visits were given, and mites were collected. The group voted to donate to the vacation Bible school, which will be held in June.

Plans are being made for the November arts and crafts show with 44 booths already registered.

The annual church staff recognition dinner and white elephant auction will be May 24, which is the next meeting of Ladies Aid 3.

Carlana Abel reported on the June activity with details still in progress.

The meeting was closed with the singing of the organization’s hymn and the Lord’s Prayer.
