School board to consider hiring of superintendent

The Crothersville Community School Corp. board of education will have a special meeting Monday night to consider hiring a superintendent.

It will start with a public hearing on the superintendent’s contract at 6:30 p.m.

Board President Linda Luedeman will explain the purpose of the public hearing, which is to discuss and hear public objections and support for the proposed contract between the school board and superintendent candidate. The contract may be viewed online at crothersville.k12.in.us.

After the public hearing is closed, the special meeting will start. The agenda includes consideration of approval to employ a superintendent.

The public and press are invited to the public hearing and special meeting, which will be at the central administration building, 201 S. Preston St., Crothersville.
