These are “sick” times, and we need the laughter that doeth good like a cure.

That’s what Les Linz’s new book, “Humor: More or Les: A Year in the Life,” is all about.

In essence, it’s the 52-plus weekly humor columns Linz wrote for The Tribune from August 2020 until August 2021. The book is almost exclusively Christian, evangelical and conservative in nature.

Topics covered include salvation, evangelism, abortion, duty to God and country and genuine love as well as a myriad of topics on the lighter side of life.

Linz’s book is now available on amazon.com in both paperback and Kindle versions. This week, readers can get a free Kindle download of the book through midnight (Pacific Standard Time) Friday.
