Embroiderers’ Guild chapter holds February meeting

The White River chapter of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America had its February meeting at the Bartholomew County Public Library in Columbus.

All kinds of stitching with a threaded needle have been enjoyed by this group since 1980.

This includes crewel work, needlepoint, counted thread embroidery, cross stitch, pulled thread work and many variations of these.

During stitching and discussing each other’s projects, plans were begun for an information/education day for the public at the library on July 25. More details of that event will be formed at the next meeting March 12.

Meetings are scheduled at 9:45 a.m. on the second Saturday of each month in Room 6 at the library.

All stitchers from surrounding counties are welcome.

Embroiderers’ Guild of America is a national organization, and the White River Chapter is part of the Great Lakes Region.
