Akers 60th

Orville and Rayetta Akers of Seymour recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at the West Baden Springs Hotel in West Baden Springs.

Orville and the former Rayetta Henley were married Nov. 12, 1961, in Seymour.

They have three children, Tony Akers, Barb Garland and Becky Perry. They also have nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Orville enjoyed farming and retired from Cummins and Rayetta is a housewife.
