SEYMOUR

Steven Scott Steltenpohl, age 58, a native and resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021 at his residence. He was born on September 17, 1963 to the late Earl Steltenpohl and the late Beverly (Scott) Johnson. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and served his Country proudly in the United States Army National Guard. Steven was a faithful employee of Pizza Palace for over 35 years and loved his Pizza Palace family very much. He loved hunting, fishing, the outdoors, mushroom hunting, arrowhead collecting. He was a man that loved people and spending time with his family, especially his grandson. He also loved going to auctions, antiquing and his beloved cat “Gin”.

He is survived by his Bonus Father, Thomas Johnson of Seymour, Indiana, two daughters, Stephanie Steltenpohl of Seymour, Indiana and Maria Schubert and her husband Brian of Fishers, Indiana. One brother, Greg Johnson of Greenville, North Carolina and two sisters, Kara Scheidler and her husband Mark of Greensburg, Indiana and Amy Harbert and her husband Chris of Carlsbad, California. One grandson, Syrus Schubert, two nephews, Karson Scheidler and Mason Harbert and one niece, Maelynn Harbert.

He was preceded in death by his parents

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 from 10:00 Am until 1:00 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Ralph Blomenberg officiating. The family requests that masks be worn during public interaction. He will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery.
