The Girls Inc. Turkey Trot 8K Run and 5K Walk is set for 7:30 a.m. Nov. 25 at Girls Inc. of Jackson County, 956 N. O’Brien St., Seymour.

Early registration for the Thanksgiving morning race is $25 for ages 11 and up through Nov. 12. After that date, the cost goes up to $35. The cost for ages 10 and under for either race is $15.

Those who register by Nov. 12 also can receive a long-sleeved T-shirt.

Race officials are encouraging early packet pickup between 2 and 6 p.m. Nov. 24.

Anyone who registered for last year’s race that was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic will automatically be registered this year. If you would like to verify, email [email protected].
