The Seymour Department of Public Works has announced it will bring out the leaf machines on the first day of November.

That will be a Monday, which means workers will be collecting leaves from Friday residents.

Leaf vacuums run the day after trash pickup in your area. When raking leaves to the curb, avoid storm drains.

If you have leaves ready before November, place them in containers or bags and the yard waste crew will collect them on your usual trash pickup day.
