Pumpkin painting for kids programs planned

The Jackson County Public Library will provide pumpkins for free pumpkin decorating programs this month.

Various crafting supplies will be available for participants to use to create a ghoulish or silly pumpkin. Program sizes are limited, and registration is required. Sign up today at myjclibrary.org/events.

The schedule includes:

Seymour

4:30 p.m. Oct. 26: Pumpkin science and decorating for children in grades K-5 at Gaiser Park (limit 20)

10:30 a.m. Oct. 27: Preschool pumpkin painting for children ages 2 to 5 at Gaiser Park (limit 20)

10:30 a.m. Oct. 28: Pumpkin painting at the park for children ages 2 to 12 at Gaiser Park (limit 20)

4 p.m. Oct. 29: Pumpkin painting at the park for children ages 2 to 12 at Gaiser Park (limit 20)

Crothersville

3:30 or 4:30 p.m. Oct. 27: For children in grades K-5 at Bard Street Park (limit 10 each session)

Medora

4 p.m. Oct. 26: For children in grades K-5 outside at the Medora Library (limit 10)
