The Indiana High School Volleyball Coaches Association released its 2021 “players 2 watch list” on Wednesday afternoon.
Seymour, who is off to a 2-0 start this season, had six players named on this list.
The Owls’ representatives were Olivia Fish, Paige Lawrence, Breanna Lawrence, Cali Cummings, Gracie Adams and Greer Henry.
Paige Lawrence is the lone senior on the list, Fish and Cummings are juniors, Breanna Lawrence is a sophomore and Adams and Henry are freshmen.
Seymour was one of the few schools on the list to have six or more players named as individuals to watch.
Fish is currently leading the team with 30 kills through two matches, and Cummings is second on the team with 11. Paige Lawrence is currently leading the Owls with 26 digs, totaling exactly 13 in each match so far.
Adams and Henry have had solid serving numbers for Seymour in the early stages of this season as well.
Seymour won its opening match of the season at Jeffersonville 25-14, 25-19, 25-12, and the Owls followed that up with another road victory on Tuesday at Columbus North 25-21, 25-15, 25-15.
The Owls will play their home-opener tomorrow against Madison with varsity starting at 11:30 a.m.
