Charles Edward Tape 76, of Seymour, Indiana passed away on Friday July 9, 2021 at Schneck Medical Center. Charles was born in 1945 in Lynchburg, VA to the late George and Arlene Tape.

In 1968 he married Jennifer Reynolds in Jackson Co. Tenn. and she survives.

Charles was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, where he was Baptized in Christ and where he was confirmed in 1959. He was a graduate of Brownstown Central High School where he was in the choir for 3 years. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Cummins Engine Plant after 30 years. Charles was an avid Tony Stewart and NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed antiques and gardening.

Charles is survived by his wife, sons; Brian E. (Michelle) Tape and Cody Tape, grandchildren; Daniel (Autumn) Banks, Nicole Banks, Corrina Tape, Julie Tape, Heaven Tape, Ozzie Tape, and great granddaughter Lilah Hope Banks.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Julie L. Tape.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the Voss Chapel from 4-6 p.m. and Wednesday from 1p.m. till the time of the service.

Services will be conducted by Voss Funeral Service on Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Pastor Bloch and Pastor Rodriguez officiating.

Burial will follow at Vallonia Cemetery.

Cards and notes of condolence will be most welcome.
