The Jackson County Public Library presents a virtual visit by Tracey Hecht, author of "The Nocturnals."
This 30-minute video will introduce children ages 5 to 8 to the social and emotional learning theme of courage and feature a readaloud from "The Slithery Shakedown" Level 2 early reader and drawing activity
SEL is the process by which children and adults learn to understand and manage their emotions, and it is an important part of growing up and essential for children for other learning to take place.
The program will be posted at 10:30 a.m. June 14 on the library’s Facebook page and YouTube channel at MyJCLibrary.
