Lillian Jeanette (Prewitt) Shelton, 91 of Brownstown passed away May 8, 2021. Born January 29, 1930 in Seymour she was the daughter of James Guy and Mary Elizabeth (Auffenburg) Prewitt.

Lillian had spent most her life as a home maker and taking care of her family. She loved traveling with her late husband while he worked as a truck driver. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards and bingo at the Brownstown Senior Living. She will be missed by her friends that she played cards with every Friday.

Lillian Was a past member of the Eastern Star, Eagles, Moose Lodge, and the VFW. She was an avid member of the Brownstown Nazarene Church, where she volunteered at the church’s food pantry. She loved to volunteer at Provisions but most of all she loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Wanda Frady and her husband Larry of Brownstown, Lana Jackson and her husband Howard of Ocala, Florida and Sharon “Shorty” Fields of Brownstown; her three grandchildren, Shawn Frady, Donald Fields and Derek Fields; her great-grandchildren, Austin Frady, Samantha Davis, Brooke Jackson, Damien Jackson, Ashley Meadows, Dylan Fields, Mason Fields, Pryce Fields, Carter Fields and Deacon Fields; her great-great-grandsons, Beckham Davis and Russell Frady and several nieces and nephews.

Lilian was preceded by her husband of 50 years, Samuel Shelton who passed in 2000; her parents; seven brothers; one sister; her son in law, Donald A. Fields and one grandson Jason Jackson.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at the Brownstown Nazarene Church. Pastor Tim Lichtley will conduct service at 11:00am. Friends and family members are invited to visit with the family after 10:00am until the time of service at the church.
